Hello, I’m Toby, I joined Crossley Mill as a nursery cook in February 2025, bringing my lifelong passion for cooking into a role I really enjoy. Before this, I owned and ran bars and restaurants for over 15 years, but after selling my businesses in 2023, I retrained as a solution-focused hypnotherapist, a practice I continue alongside my role here helping adults and children with a range of issues such as anxiety, low mood, neurodivergence and phobias.
Cooking has always been a big part of my life, and I really enjoy creating a variety of nutritious, freshly prepared and tasty meals for the children. I love the nursery environment and the joy that comes from being part of the daily experiences of the kids.
Outside of work, I have three boys—Kit (3), Rufus (8), and Travis (14)—who keep me busy and always inspired!
