Story:

Hi my name is Claire, I am the Early Years Lead here at Crossley Mill Nursery.

I have worked here at the ‘Mill’ since October 2006 starting out as a Nursery Assistant in the Lilliput room, gaining more qualifications as the years have passed and working my way up to a more senior position in 2009 as the Senior Nursery Practitioner. I then had the opportunity to take on the role as Acting Deputy Manager three times over the years to cover maternity leave for the management team. I became a permanent member of the Management Team in 2016.

I have experience in all the nursery rooms especially that of the 3-5 years. I am now office based, taking on a role assisting with the nursery expenditures and invoices. My role here at Crossley Mill is adventurous and full filling from playing with the children to supporting the staff and folding the laundry.

My qualifications are;

Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Early Years (Level 6)

Paediatric First Aid,

Emergency First Aid at Work,
