We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents/carers who attended our graduation party for our September leavers. The children had a lovely time receiving their certificates and medals and playing party games as their parents watched on. It is a sad time as we say good bye and good luck to the children on their new adventure to school.
Here are a few photos from the fun afternoon……party tea, dancing and receiving our certificates.
A big thank you to all the parents, carers, staff and children who took part in our toddle, despite the pouring down rain we all had a lovely time splashing our way around the park to raise money for the Halifax special care baby unit. Check out our lovely photos courtesy of Fliss Johnson-Standley.
A Big thank you to all the staff, parents, carers and children who joined us in this years Handmade Parade, it was a fantastic event and everybody had a wonderful time.
Take a look at our gallery to see Crossley Mill nursery and friends dressed as fire birds dancing through Hebden Bridge.
We held a make & do morning workshop at the nursery on Saturday 15th June for Parents, Carers and children to come along and make fire bird costumes for the parade.
Once again we had a great turn out and the morning was a huge success, lots of creativity had by all (Parents having more fun than the children we are sure)
Thank you to all who turned up and we hope to hold more fun mornings like this throughout the year.
Incey Wincey spider is a very popular nursery rhym in our Lilliput room at the moment, so we decided to make our very own 3D spider display.
As you can see from the photographs the children had a fantastic time exploring paint and getting very messy.
Isla aged 2 years 9 months told us “Mummy wouldnt like a spider this big in the kitchen”
Sam aged 2 years 9 months told us “i seen a spider in the garden and train”
Check out our giant Incey Wincey displayed in our front Lilliput room.
“We’d had a very wet week so we planned to have fun in the rain, on the day we’d planned the weather was dry, so we made our very own rain!!
As you can see from the photos the Bobkins had a SPLASHING TIME”

“Today we recognised the Vaisha Puja festival with the children which is a celebration of Buddhas birthday.
The children were very excited to sing Happy Birthday to our figurine Buddha and all rubbed his belly for good luck.
Traditionally the festival is celebrated with lots of colour , lanterns are made and gifts are given to the elderly.
We recognised this festival with a feast, and displayed colourful streamers and collages that the children enjoyed making.
The whole nursery came together to have a colourful feast and requested to sing happy birthday to Buddha,”
